Dr Adam Carey

Founder and Director
Adam qualified from Oxford in 1988, going on to become an accredited specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with sub-specialist interests in endocrinology and nutrition.
He left the NHS in 1998 to actively develop the use of nutritional and lifestyle interventions to improve human performance, reduce the risk of disease and develop individual resilience.
Working extensively in sport, he delivered innovative solutions to many international teams including the World Cup-winning England Rugby Football Union in 2003.
Dr Fred Wadsworth

Founder and Director
Having qualified at St Thomas’s Hospital in London, Fred completed his European specialist accreditation in NHS hospitals and as a lecturer at Imperial College. In 1999, he left the NHS to focus on lifestyle interventions in prevention of non-communicable diseases.
His interest in human performance drew him to elite sport, working with Olympians, international athletes in football, rugby and cricket. This extended his focus to the impact of lifestyle behaviour on mental health and performance in the corporate environment.
Dr Alisoun Carey

Founder and Director
Alisoun is a Founder of Corperformance with responsibility for the overall operational management of the company including oversight of programme delivery to corporate clients.
She has a PhD in human genetics and previously headed up gene target discovery in biotech companies in both the USA and UK. She has delivered large multi-centre programmes involving corporate, academic and government stakeholders with responsibility for delivery of gene targets and oversight of multi £M budgets.
Alisoun has managed diverse teams of scientists, including molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, statisticians and software developers, to identify the genes involved in diseases such as heart disease, type II diabetes, asthma and obesity.
Alisoun is a co-author on more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
Prof Chris Beedie

Director of Mental Fitness
Chris studied a BSc in Sports Physiology, an MSc in Applied Neuroscience and a PhD in Mood, Emotion & Human Performance. For over 20 years Chris’ applied work has focussed on how the body and brain interact in high performance and high pressure environments.
He has worked in elite sports, military, and executive contexts using methods that integrate physical & mental health with optimal performance.
Alongside his full-time role in CorPerformance he is Honorary Professor of Cognition & Neuroscience at the University of Kent and Affiliate Researcher in the Institute of Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.
He has published over 100 peer-reviewed research papers across psychology, neuroscience, and physiology and is the author of two books.
Dr Linia Patel

Linia is a leading Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist with extensive experience in several nutrition settings including sports nutrition, women’s health and corporate wellness.
She is a British Dietetic Association Spokesperson and is regularly seen on appearing on national TV and in the press. She also has a PhD in Public Health. Her passion is translating nutritional science into easy-to-digest and practical advice.
Outside of work Linia is a big foodie and loves to socialise over good (and nutritious) food. She regularly participates in endurance events which means she gets to put into practice what she preaches.
Tracy Kelly

Clinical Associate
Tracy is a specialist dietitian, with a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
Her career has spanned the NHS, public and private sectors, and the start-up world, giving her a unique perspective that combines nutrition, psychology, and lifestyle insights when partnering with individuals to lead better lives in a sustainable way. Because performance without wellbeing cannot be sustained.
Tracy has a special interest in women’s health, performance nutrition and food psychology. She has won many awards in the health sector and is a voice at Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global.
Matt Lovell

Matt qualified in Nutrition in 2000. Since then, he has worked sports teams and athletes across the globe as well the corporate world.
He is a specialist formulist for nutritional supplement companies and founded Amino Man in 2015 to focus on specialist performance nutrition.
He enjoys applying innovative solutions, derived from working in elite sports, to improving human performance in the corporate arena.
Joanne Hart

Clinical Associate
Joanne has a BSc in Nutritional Therapy and BEng in Chemical Engineering. Her interests in people development, health and science led her to a career in nutrition after over a decade of corporate careers in global automotive, with BMW, Land Rover and Ford, and the food industry as an engineer and IT manager.
Joanne has a breadth of experience, having lived in the UK and America, and from delivering nutrition services to many corporate, education and charity organisations.
Victoria Makepeace

Senior Clinical Associate
Victoria is an experienced registered Nutritionist. She has worked in a variety of settings including public health, clinical practice, lecturing and research.
She enjoys taking nutrition research and translating it into realistic and practical advice. She has a special interest in gut health, weight management and phytochemicals.
Dr Caroline Whittaker
Clinical Associate
Caroline is a registered GP, qualifying at the University of Newcastle, and still works part-time in the NHS. She is a firm believer that exercise, diet and lifestyle are paramount to optimal health.
She has completed many triathlons, including coming third in her age group at Kona in the Ironman world championships and winning her age group at the World Championships standard distance triathlon in Mexico.
She is now a passionate cyclist, indoor cycling coach, and is Head Coach at the Hillingdon triathletes club in London.
Jess Neil

Jess is a chartered physiotherapist with extensive NHS experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and is completing her doctorate (PhD) in Nutrition in Mental Health.
Over and above her extensive clinical work, Jess has acted as a performance specialist in women’s professional sport. She was Women’s Health Lead at Angel City FC, Los Angeles, providing nutrition support and leading team menstrual cycle tracking to support athletes to work proactively with their cycle to sustain peak performance.
She was also Academy & Women’s Physiotherapist and Nutrition Lead at Chelsea Women’s Football Club, leading nutrition programmes, delivering injury assessment clinics and providing pitch-side cover for national and international tournaments.

The Operations Team ensure that CorPerformance’s clinical excellence and programme quality is rolled out and scaled effectively and seamlessly across your organisation.
Noel Sutton
Programme Manager
Noel worked in banking, after graduating with a BSc in Maths and Sports Sciences, for a decade, before coming back to the world of Sport Science. He enjoys applying maths and data to the world of health and sports performance.
Noel competed nationally and internationally as a runner and triathlete. Currently he coaches a young adult running squad at national level.
Ross Kinloch
Programme Manager
Ross has a PhD in Virology and has spent 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry, leading multi-disciplinary drug-discovery teams in the fields on neurodegeneration, pain and tissue-repair.
Since 2013, Ross has participated in the delivery of CorPerformance’s programmes. Ross is a keen sportsman and is a passionate believer of the benefits of an active lifestyle.
Vicky Andrews

After graduating with a degree in Business Computing and IT, Victoria spent a number of years in Facilities Management in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing her career on customer-facing roles.
With a passion for customer service and delivering the highest-quality standards, she has been coordinating CorPerformance programmes for 7 yrs.
Nathan Hunt
Education Technologist
Nathan has extensive experience in education and technology, with special expertise in communications, digital implementation and user-focused transformations. He provides direct technical support to our clinicians and clients, utilising digital technologies to enhance the impact of our programmes. He also develops self-awareness tools and optimal data management systems.
Nathan’s passion for digital led him to join CorPerformance, helping to fuse our clinical ethos and methods with emerging and innovative digital technologies.
